They take too long to see their patients
I wouldn't even begin to give this doctor's office a star but that is the lowest that you can go. It's a shame that you have been going to this office for quite some time and when you go in for a visit they have no clue as to why you are being seen or why you are taking certain medications. My father had been diagnosed with osteoarthritis. He has been taking Tramadol for years for his round the clock pain. Now all of a sudden this doctor's office whats him to prove that he actually needs the medication. Seriously? In his chart it clearly states he had been diagnosed. Now we have to go through series of tests in order for him to have his medication and in the mean time suffer in pain. Inexcusable! The doctor didn't even want to begin to listen because he was behind on seeing his other patients. Not our falt! Avoid this mess of a "doctor's" office at all costs!
Dr. Ackerman or his nurses are very hard to get ahold of. you have to leave a message, for a refill on a perscription for example, and they will get back to you in a couple of days. If you need the script filled today, forget it. The wait time to see the Dr. ranges between an hour and two hours, every single time. This Dr. sees walk ins all day so you will never get in at your appt. time. And then the Dr. himself takes very little time with you and always seems dismissive. I do not feel he listens to me at all. I am changing Dr's after six months w/ Ackerman and would not recommend him to anybody.
